A couple of months ago we heard about the abduction of the three red cross volunteer workers that was abducted by the abu sayff group in Jolo south of Mindanao. The Bandit group have several demands, we heard about millions of money for their ransom pay, the removal of the military group in the said area and many more... There were negotiations made by the governmet and the terorist but it is always unsuccesful until one day a news reports that one of the hostages were freed in the of Miss lacaba who was a Mindanaoan. It was said tha there were no ransom money paid for her freedom but I dont think that there was no money involved. It is always an SOP that in every hostage has a corresponding price for his or her freedom. The second foreigner hostage still of the Red Cross was freed a week ago and it was said that the hostage escaped from the terorist group and they paid no money becasue of the incident. Most of the people here in Mindanao dont believed in the reports because they already knew that every hostage has a corresponding price.
