Vacation is Over!

It's now June 2008 and Start of the school year for almost everybody who are enrolled in school. The endless watching of television, spending time with friends all day, and sleeping longer is over. Students are busy preparing their things for school, and parents too budget there money for their children. A lot of fees to be paid such as miscellaneous, uniforms, books, shoes and allowance for the day. As a parent, I was able to save money for my daughter's expenses in school. All things were provided so that she will not encounter difficulties in her studies. I also impose to my daughter the value of saving money and things. All her things that has been used last school year were already recycled and use again this school year. I'm glad that my daughter was obedient enough to follow my instructions in regards with her school needs. So, right now, were going to sleep early and be ready for school tomorrow. Anyway, my daughter is now in Kinder 2 and a 5 year old who studied in a private school here in Davao City.

Weekend is important

In this busy world, it is important to have time with family and yourself. And the best time to do that is on weekend. Where every member of the family gather and stay only at home. It is the only time to sit back, curl up, watch tv, sleep longer and just simply relax. Relaxing truly is an art form. It is time to rejuvenate yourself and do the things that you can't do during weekdays. Here are some of my ideas or suggestions on how to spend quality time on weekends.
  • Kick Back. Pop in your favorite music and curl up with a good book or take a warm bath--with bubbles!
  • Massage treat. Schedule a massage, facial or manicure for an indulgent weekend treat.
  • Body and Soul. Practice meditation, pray, quiet reflection, or do some yoga for some deep relaxation.
  • Laugh it up. Talk to the members of the family, update what's going on with their lives or just simply watch a good movie that you love most. Remember, laughter is the best medicine.
  • Gardening. Do some gardening, replanting, or propagate to add beauty and life to your surroundings and do some watering with your plants. It can also relax and exercise your body.
  • Sleep tight. Try to get into bed early on Saturday and Sunday nights- that way you're rested and ready to face the week ahead of you.

In this way, you already spend quality time with your family and yourself but the best of it, you did not spend nothing even a single cent. Just a wonderful and stress- free weekend!!!

My cousin Jan

I love all my cousins but the most special of all is Jan. She was always there for me in everything. Be in trouble, problems, happiness and sorrow. She is a management graduate from a Notre Dame School in South Cotabato and not to forget that she also studied and graduated the Caregiver course and a training in Welding that was offered by Tesda, a government program offered in her place . Now she manage their little store back home and lately she bought her new personal computer because she was interested in blogging too. With the help of Noel she slowly learned the world of blogging and having a good time in it. She is also a lover of dogs. She take good care of it and and when her pet is sick or something wrong with it, she was worried to death and nurse it all day and night. I believe that this cousin of mine is a knowledgeable one and in the right track in terms of her career in life. By the way you can visit her in http://www.janizarzagon.blogspot.com/.
