Mindanao is known to be a war zone, a battle ground between government forces and the (MILF) Moro Islamic Liberation Front. Actually, I have been living in Mindanao since birth and I have experienced some unwanted incidents, differences between Christians and Muslims but not all of the Mindanao places are in bad condition. Only few places, particularly Muslim areas such as Jolo , Maguindanao, Cotabato, Lanao, Marawi and the like are in unstable condition but the Muslims are claiming the whole of Mindanao were their property. They want to push an agreement between the their forces and the Philippine government their claims. The Philippine government didn't agree in the stipulations of the (MOA) Memorandum of Agreement that's why the MILF declares War but not directed to the their opponent which is the government forces. They killed civilians, burned each civilians houses and some of their members rob valuable things. They act like criminals. This type of groups should be abolished immediately and government should focused on this matters to stop the killings of the innocent civilians.

If the Philippine government didn't agree with the MOA, then why there was that "scheduled" signing of the MOA, in Malaysia, between the MILF and the Philippine government? It was the "concerned" people of our government tried to stop the signing. The MOA itself was an unknown and an defined to the eyes and understanding of the common Filipino people.
I guess, MOA is just a backdoor for the administration to form a federal government.
