Periwinkle

This plant is often seen besides the street or highways. It may grown wild or simply in dwarf size if it is pruned religiously. Vinca Minor or Periwinkle is easy to care and will withstand poor conditions. Although if given tender loving care growth will be more attractive. It is excellent in carpeting plant for shaded areas under trees, on banks or in large rockeries. Its growth can be rather vigorous even invasive in warm climates. This will grow best in shade, in filtered sunlight or with morning sun and afternoon shade. However, the greater the amount of sunshine received, the more the plant will flower over a longer period.
