The government warned the public consumer to stop buying China milk products


Health and government officials on Friday cautioned the public against the use of cheap and unmarked powdered milk being sold in the market.The warning came amid the ongoing controversy regarding contaminated infant milk formula in China. A TV reported showed several sidewalk vendors in Manila particularly in Quiapo and Divisoria markets selling unmarked powered milk at much cheaper prices compared to branded products. Some vendors, according to Apolinario, repacked products in plastic containers.“When they repack it, there is possibility of contamination. It was really scary to buy those china milk products because there were melanin content in their milk products that can cause kidney trouble and even death. Many of the Chinese in china who bought and consumed find body disorder while some of them died. The Philippine government warned the public consumers to stop buying cheaper china milk products because this products are so harmful to our body.
